The sun is finally out, temperatures are rising, and it’s time to shave your legs, lol! I don’t know about you but when Spring rolls around I am ready to shed all of the winter layers, get a pedi, and wear all of my cute dresses. Now granted, my skin hasn’t seen the sun in quite some time. These are the products I reach for when I need a sun-kissed glow without the orange tint.

Coco and Eve Sunny Honey Bali Bronzing Foam is what I reach for when I want that back from the beach kinda look. I have a medium skin tone so I use the color Dark. For tanners, it is super easy to apply, dries fast, and doesn’t have an overpowering tanner smell. I apply it with a mitt. I purchased the cheetah mitt from Pink Lily. You can buy a mitt literally from anywhere and they aren’t expensive at all. Here are a few tips that have worked for me when applying self tanner:

  1. Shower and exfoliate first
  2. Put lotion around elbows, knees, ankle bones, and feet. For me it helps those areas not to absorb so much product.
  3. Let your tan dry before getting dressed. I like to stand in front of a fan to make sure it gets really dry.
  4. Let the tan develop overnight and shower the next day.
  5. Pat dry after showering. To prolong your tan, pat dry when finished showering, and make sure to moisturize.

Isle of Paradise Self-Tanning Drops is a great quick, hassle-free tan. It takes a minute to get the drops to lotion ratio right to achieve the glow you want. For me, 6 to 8 drops with one pump of lotion gives me the glow I need. I use that ratio for all parts of my body. What I love about these drops is the ease in applying. After I hop out of the shower, I use these drops in my lotion. Once it has been applied, give it a few minutes to dry. Definitely make sure to wash your hands when you are finished applying.
