Lifestyle

A couple of years ago, I stumbled upon this really cool boutique in Dallas, TX called Fleastyle. I soon learned that they had more than one location in the DFW area. The boutiques themselves are next level when it comes to style, clothing, and overall experience. My favorite thing about these particular boutiques is their hat bar. Since then, I have taken countless family and friends to check them out.

This time around I was finally going to get a hat done. I grabbed my friend, who had also wanted to do a hat as long as I have, and we ventured up to Frisco, TX for a much-needed mom’s weekend away.  I reserved a table at Heirloom Haul located inside of Fleastyle. We grabbed a quick bite to eat. The food was delicious. Then we headed a few feet to the hat bar.

The Experience

I reserved a spot online a few days before. I highly recommend doing this before you go. They do take walk-ins, but reserving a spot gets you your own stylist and a glass of champagne. We walked in through the doors and immediately were given a friendly greeting and were introduced to our stylist. What I love about the hat bar is you can bring your own hat to style, for a $25 dollar fee, or you can purchase a hat from them. The hats vary in prices. Decisions, Decisions…

It was a little overwhelming at first, but so much fun! There are so many things to choose from. They have examples of hats already decorated to give you some ideas. I’m a visual person so this came in really handy!

Time to Create

Once we picked out all of the items, we sat down with our stylist and began to create. The stylist would pause and ask if I liked it a certain way, if there was anything that needed to be fixed, added, or taken away. They truly were very attentive and wanted to make sure you were happy with everything.

The Final Product

The experience was wonderful, and the atmosphere was amazing too! It would definitely be a great spot for a girl’s night out or weekend away.

We decided to take a quick trip to the river for my birthday. It didn’t hurt that one of my favorite country bands was playing that weekend right off the river. We loaded up our stuff, grabbed our floats, and hopped in the car with our friends for a fun road trip!

Date night is fun, but if you are anything like my husband and I, date night can become a tedious process when narrowing down where to eat, and what to do. Luckily my friend called me to tell me about the dating A to Z challenge she saw on Tik Tok. I will admit that Tik Tok has some pretty interesting challenges, but this one sounded like fun. Challenge accepted!
