Art, Music, and Friends, what could get any better than that? We attended the Amon Carter Museum’s 60th Birthday Bash and it was a night to remember! We thought it would be fun to get some friends together and have a group date night that was different from our norm. When we found out that one of our favorite artists Shakey Graves was going to be performing at this birthday celebration we knew we had to go and check it out.
Who doesn’t love checking off boxes on a checklist? I don’t know about you but when I can check off a box on my to do list I feel accomplished and #adulting. Teaching and being a mother of two requires some organization. I love using cute planners and colorful pens and highlighters. It’s totally corny but looking at my brightly colored lists and calendar brings a smile to my face. I get so excited at the beginning of each school year to pick out my new supplies. Do y’all remember that song by Will Smith? That was my jam in Middle School. We recently took a family trip to Miami. My husband and I have been once before.
