So, I met my friend the other day for coffee. We were going to try out a new coffee spot. I don’t know about y’all, but once plans have been confirmed I’m already brainstorming what my outfit will be. It doesn’t matter if it’s three weeks away. Anyone else do that? Like, I mentioned before my friend and I were meeting up so I wanted something cute and casual. We have been experiencing a heat wave in Texas, so the breezier the outfit the better!
I chose a button up khaki linen dress. I bought this adorable dress at a boutique in my hometown. It is super comfortable. The best part…it has pockets! Linen and cotton dresses are great for summer time. They allow air circulation and are really comfy.
I’m a total jewelry girl. Jewelry completes any outfit. The best thing about jewelry is that you can keep it really simple, or make it more glamorous. It is completely up to you and your taste. I decided to keep my earrings simple for this look. I went with small gold hoop huggies from Baublebar. I layered three different gold necklaces. My favorite is the Atocha Necklace from Uncommon James.
An outfit is only as good as its shoes, am I right? To continue with my cute and casual theme, I reached for my Snakeskin Pink Sneakers (retailed at $68) from Dottie Couture. It is this really cute boutique that is based out of Indiana. I ordered these from their website. They run true to size and are comfortable.The bright pink detail on the back is just adorable! I’m slightly obsessed with them, if you can’t tell. They are a good Golden Goose dupe if you don’t want to pay the hefty price tag.
