Beignets, barbecue, and board games. What more could you ask for? We started the Tik Tok Alphabet Date Challenge a couple weeks ago. Now it was time for our alphabet date challenge letter B. My hubby is a huge fan of barbecue, so I knew what his choice would be when it came to the letter B. We met up with friends and started our beignets, barbecue and board game date. Check out our fun and tasty adventure.

Beignets

To kick off the alphabet date challenge letter B, we started at the Dusty Biscuit Beignets in South Main Fort Worth to try their tasty beignets. I tried the French Quarter Beignets, and it was delicious! Our friends tried the Bourbon Street and Cowtown King Cake. They definitely did not disappoint! Check out more of their tasty flavors here: https://www.orderthedustybiscuit.com/

Barbecue

From there it was time to eat some barbecue. We walked down the street to Brix Barbecue. Located inside of a trailer in South Main Fort Worth. We ordered the brisket, spare ribs, house made sausage, beef belly burnt ends, and the beef cheek tacos. We also ordered the corn, tallow beans, and the special of the day Cecilia’s Wac (cornbread). I’m not a huge fan of barbecue, but this was pretty good. Definitely worth trying.

Board Games

Now that we were completely stuffed it was time to play some board games. Luckily everything was within the same area, so we didn’t have to go far. We headed to Game Theory also located in South Main Fort Worth. Game Theory has board games, food, and a bar. Game Theory is a cool family friendly place that offers some fun. A wall is lined with various board games to choose from. You pick a game find a table and play! The wait staff makes sure you have what you need. We grabbed our game, headed to our table, and ordered some drinks. Our friends ordered a beer, and a bloody Mary. I ordered one of the specialty drinks the +5 to Charisma. The atmosphere was laid back and we had a ton of fun. See what else they have to offer here: https://gametheorytx.com/
