I’m throwing it back to our adventure to Canton, Texas this past summer for the First Monday Trade Days. If you are ever in the DFW area it is definitely something, you need to check out. It is packed with all kinds of vendors and some tasty treats too!

This flea market event takes place prior to the first Monday of the month. It goes from Thursday to Sunday. It is huge! Anytime I have taken friends with me for the first time,  I try to explain how big it is and can never do it the justice it deserves. Make sure to wear comfy shoes because you will do a lot of walking.

It opens at 9 am and closes at 5 pm. Majority, if not all, of the vendors take debit cards and credit cards. Some prefer cash transactions. It is helpful to bring cash as a backup plan.

They have vendors that are located outside and there are also vendors that are located in building-like structures as well. There is a variety of everything: items for your home, clothes, hand-made items, vintage finds, the list goes on and on. Bring a small wagon to help you cart around the items you find along the way.

When my husband and I went this past summer, we went to the outdoor vendors that have more antique and vintage items. We were looking for items for our bookshelves in our living room and wanted to find something unique. I’m obsessed with cameras, so we were on a mission to find something that matches our aesthetic.

It is definitely a unique experience and there is something for everyone. For more information check out their website https://www.firstmondaycanton.com/
